Young children aged 8 or less

We regret that the minimum age of the client needs to be eight years or older.
Alternatively, we work with parents directly to assist them with parenting challenges.

Australian Psychological Society so they can find you a Psychologist who can assist your child.

Please call 03 9769 9912 if you would like to discuss your options.

Parent Appointment Required

We require a parent appointment before providing services to your child.

We kindly ask at this appointment not to bring your child, so we can have a private space to discuss the child's and parent's individual needs. This allows the Psychologist to tailor a therapy plan for your child's specific needs.

If possible, having both parents at the appointment would be ideal.

Please call us on 03 9769 9912 if you have any questions.

Parent Appointment

We recommend a parent appointment before providing services to your child.
This is a recommendation, not a requirement  unless your appointment is for an assessment.

This provides a private space to discuss the child's and parent's individual needs. This allows the Psychologist to tailor a therapy plan for your child's specific needs.

If possible, having both parents at the appointment would be ideal.

Please call  03 9769 9912 if you have any questions.

Parental/Guardian Consent

If one parent is not consenting to psychology support, and both parents have equal shared parental responsibility and are actively involved in their child's life, we recommend specialised support through Relationships Australia on  1300 364 277.

When a child is undergoing psychological treatment, both parents have the right to their child's health records and all conversations between each parent and the Psychologist, unless otherwise ordered by a court.

This is why both parents must agree upon psychological treatment.

If the other parent is not actively involved, please call  03 9769 9912 to discuss your situation.
